At face value this debate seems impossible to win; both tea and coffee are great to wake up to, give you a boost of antioxidants and help you power through your day. Coffee has become a dessert in café culture rather than a drink, the fancier the name and the more cream, sugar and fatty substances added the better. Brewing tea can be akin to a spiritual and cultural experience in the eastern world and the epitome of convenience for busy lifestyles; it doesn’t matter if you plop a tea bag into boiling water or make a ritual out of tea, either was it satisfies and rejuvenates. This blessed quality of tea comes from the fact, that unlike coffee, it slowly releases its limited caffeine that doesn’t give you a ‘high’ but keeps you calm and alert.
