The tea is sourced from a single estate which has been producing exceptional teas for the past 130 years. The Harrington Estate, where this tea is sourced, is a certified organic tea estate that uses traditional cow dung and decomposed plant matter to grow its organic teas. These teas are harvested using only manual labour where workers handpick the buds and leaves. Light and Flowery
This is an excellent choice for all who appreciate light-bodied teas. The large leaves take a bit longer to brew, but they result in a fine and flowery cup of tea. I noticed flavor notes of lily of the valley, alfalfa honey, and even a subtle sweet spice in the finish. As aforementioned, it is light bodied, yet it does have a leafy edge to it that adds a welcome hint of astringency (not bitter at all). The overall impression is that of purity, freshness, and sophistication.
