Fine, Dessert-like Black Tea
This tea is complex yet easily enjoyable; it has a fine taste that stands out from most other black teas I have tried. The aroma suggests malt, but that is only an undertone in this tea. Set atop that malty base are notes of caramel and bittersweet chocolate. The "burnt rose" comes out more in the finish as a combination of roasty and floral flavors. All the while this tea is mellow and smooth without a hint of bitterness (aside from the bittersweet chocolate flavor). I brewed it as directed for 4 minutes and got an equally flavorful second steep. Brewed a bit stronger this tea pairs excellently with milk and honey.

Near boil at 95-100 C (203-212 F)
3 to 5 minutes, up to 3 times
