Pure Ceylon Green tea
Loose leaf · From Uva region · Good for Iced tea
This tea comes from Sri Lanka’s famous town of Nanu Oya in the Uva region. History of the region dates back to the time of the popular Indian epic Ramayana. As the legend goes the Sri Lankan king, Ravana, kidnapped the princess, Sita, and hid her in caves in the surrounding area. Later, in 1896, the first tea seeds were planted in the Nanu Oya District. Since then, the superiority of teas grown on this single estate has set them far above the rest — literally. At an elevation of between 1,402-1,950m, this high grown tea has spent its life on top of the world. Our Mythical Green tea appears yellow in colour and boasts a mild, roasted flavour that will earn it a permanent place in your cup.

This tea is still one of my favorites. Warm, rich flavor without being overpowering. A really good green tea. Great tea if you are switching from heavy darker teas to something lighter. Good aftertaste. I can’t say enough about the excellent care and receptivity of the customer service team. They will take care of you and are very interested making sure you enjoy your experience and tea. If not they want to hear about it and will do everything in their power to try and meet your needs.
The tea leaves had a lovely fresh ,light aroma and when steeped these were intensified as the leaves opened. The taste is smooth and refreshing with no chemical after taste. Tea arrived beautifully packaged and this company exceeded expectations at all levels.
I really have enjoyed the tea and my experience will this product is very good.
It was smooth going down and when I put some of it in the refrigerator to cool down and I could not believe that it tasted so fresh and there is no tanic buildup. It still tasted as if just made it fresh. You have spoiled my taste buds-no more tea bags for me.
I really appreciate Teakruthi’s commitment to fresh sourced tea and this one is now my staple tea. It’s the perfect everyday tea for anyone who likes a good amount of depth in flavour without being overpowering. Good aftertaste and accents of something uplifting in the curation. Great job! A wonderful tea.
