Pure Ceylon Black tea (BP1)
Loose leaf · From Ruhuna (a.k.a. Southern or Matara) region · Good for Iced tea
This low grown full-bodied blend was hand-plucked from the shade of the Sinharaja Rainforest in Sri Lanka. Made from the highest quality leaves, Rainforest Indulgence offers a unique flavour. Rather than hand-rolling to bruise the leaf and introduce oxidation, this tea was produced by a modern mechanical process that instead tears the leaf. Only limited amounts of Broken Pekoe (BP) grade Ceylon tea is produced, so this tea is truly a special morning treat. This strong tea is reddish orange in colour.

Bold and smooth
Rainforest indulgence truly gives me the strong bold flavour I look for. Great on its own or with honey.
One of the best CTC's you'd have!
Very easy to brew. It's plenty strong using even a 1.5 minute first steep but you can go longer. I'd recommend 1-3 minutes on this one. Resteeps very well, and should get you about 3 milder cups, or 2 very potent cups. Without a doubt the best CTC teas you'd try!
Exceptional Tea Well Suited To Milk/Cream
This is a remarkably aromatic and flavorful CTC (small pellet grade) tea. It produces a strong and full-bodied cup that is both smooth and brisk. The characteristic strength and astringency of this grade of tea is there, but this one also has some surprising flavor. Notes of malt, dried plum, wood, and subtle spice are discernible throughout the cup. I wouldn't brew this longer than 2 minutes unless you want a particularly astringent cup that requires milk/cream. That being said, I think this tea is very well suited to the addition of milk/cream; it is strong and holds its flavor well. It also re-steeps surprisingly well for a tea of this grade, so you get added value!
