Pure Ceylon Black tea (BOP 1)
Loose leaf · From Udu Pussallawa region · Good for Iced tea
This medium grown blend is malty, fresh, slightly tart, and strong. For this Broken Orange Pekoe One (BOP 1) grade tea, we use a wiry, medium-length leaf that provides this blend its malty flavour. The leaves are plucked from our plantations in the small town of Pussallawa in the Kandy District, the ancient capital of Sri Lankan royalty. Pussallawa is situated at 2,000-4,000ft above sea level and is today known for its mid-grown teas recognised for its bright infusion and coppery tone. Although appearing light in the cup (dark gold) Royal Midlands offers strength and body for a flavourful tasting experience.

Best tea ever!
I recently switched to morning tea from coffee. I must say I love this tea! It is both rich and full bodied, but is low in tannins so has a very smooth finish. I have this every day now! Try it. You won’t regret it!
Love the taste, mixed with milk and sugar.
A lovely tea, fairly strong with a slightly earthy flavour. A great breakfast tea, will definitely reorder.
I could drink a gallon of this tea each morning, or any time! I ordered three teas, this is the second I have tried. One of the best teas I have experienced. Great service, too.
Great service. I appreciate the updates on my order. I will be ordering more from you in the future.
Excellent leaf tea. Great way to start any morning!
